Zyxel G-102Feb 14, 2009
By Guy I needed a wireless g card with WPA security and this was the cheapest I could find on Amazon. Am very happy with it as it works very well. However initial setup was quite difficult - it appears to me that although the product is labelled G102, the utilities and driver supplied on CD do not work with it. I downloaded and installed the G120 (G one hundred and twenty) software from Zyxel's international site and with this it works perfectly. Overall I am happy with product, but is a hassle to setup. Think twice if you are not too technically inclined.

Why Spend More?May 11, 2006
By ekm Just purchased the G-102 for Toshiba Satellite and Motorola Surfboard SBG900 on Comcast High Speed Internet service. Don't know why anyone would want to spend more for standard home wireless nets. Easy setup, handles WEP, no detected drops, haven't found any dead spots in my house. Great so far!

Didn't work with Ubuntu LinuxJul 12, 2010
By Engineer Installed ok with Ubuntu Linux 10.04 and Ndiswrapper and it would connect to the network but fail as soon as any large data transfer was attempted. In fact, it would freeze the system and necessitate a reboot (a very rare event with Linux). Item returned and replaced with an SMC2536W-AG2, which is excellent.
