this product worked great, except I ended up finding out that there are actually three generations of 360 Power Supplies. The first two generations of Xbox 360's used a 203W PS, while the 3rd and 4th, used a 175W PS, and the 5th and 6th(current) generations use a 150W PS. I had a 1st gen console (203W), but the replacement i bought on here was a 175W PS. I didn't realize this until after my Xbox 360 got the RRoD from being "under powered" for too long.
other than that, it worked fine.
I use in in conjunction with a Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable

This is by far the worst purchase I have ever made in my life. It lasted me about 4 months, during those four months it was very loud and annoying sounding. Also it started to melt on top and became disfigured on the sides. It is crazy that people can get away with making this crap and expect people to buy it. Now I am without an Xbox and down on cash, so screw you whoever made this product.

After a few hours using this replacement power supply, my Xbox froze. Now it freezes everytime I use it. DO NOT BUY!

Avoid - Fire HazardJan 05, 2009
Although I did not purchase this from Amazon, this is the same device I purchased elsewhere, which came from Cables Unlimited. The device was a bit flaky for around 6 mo, casing random power issues. The fan was also very noisy and the device would get very hot. Then if finally caused my XBox to shut down in the middle of play, and I noticed the power brick was very hot, more so than usual. It turns out it was so hot it started melting the plastic casing. It deformed the case, and I have since stopped using the device as I like my home and would like to avoid burning it down.
Stay away from this product.
