The Skyline G6MR Remote was great no problem setting it up I now have two units and gave me neighbor another one we fine it works with along range single to upen the garage door.

My doors were custom jobs. Expensive with giant remotes that stop working when you drop them. I had special frequency changing etc. to prevent break-ins. No longer made several years ago. Hooked these up on three doors. All work perfectly through concrete walls and metal garage doors at least 50' away. I have had them at least 4 years. If you have internal push buttons with DC power to them, replace them with these and be happy. I bought spares, but not one remote has ever not worked (unless the battery died - and they last well over a year).
Buy it.

Product worked for 2+ months, then the wall unit LED stopped lighting up, and garage door did not open. Called Skylink customer service for troubleshooting, and was told my garage door opener is too old and doesn't provide the wall unit enough power. What about the 1-year warranty? Nope, it's because your garage opener is too old. OK..I don't even remember telling them what model my garage opener is.
Luckily, I went through Amazon and even though the return window had expired, Amazon replaced the product at no charge and with 1-day shipping.
Kudos to Amazon, but no thanks to Skylink support.

I hooked the button up and it did not work with my older Blue Max opener. So I dug into the instructions and learned that this unit needs power from the opener that mine did not provide - so I researched and bought an external power supply for it.
That worked, and I thought I was all set until one day later I accidentally discovered that if the external power supply stops working, is unplugged, cord yanked etc, the garage door immediately opens on its own!!
Since most people have their button installed near the garage inside door, if you have kids, dogs or the circuit breaker blows, your garage door will open while you are away.
I called the Skylink company and they insisted that this was all the fault of the Blue Max not providing power and requiring an external power supply. They were not interested in hearing that this was basically a design flaw and that their unit could have been designed so that if external power was lost the unit did not open the door...
On top of this, remote is not compatible with my new Lexus - by the companies own admission.
I just ordered a new Lift master receiver and 2 remotes - to fix all the above.
