Works great with Media Center and my Hauppauge 1213 WinTV-HVR-2250 Dual Hybrid PCI-E TV Tuner Board.
I don't see Amazon selling it anymore though.

This remote is a must-have for users of Windows 7 Media Center. It works great. The receiver is equipped with a very long usb cable, which is very convenient.
The remote feels more like a TV remote than a computer remote, which creates a great experience for watching television or other media content on your computer.

IMPORTANT NOTE - TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS
Do not purchase unless you are running
Windows Media Edition 2005, etc Pc's or laptops
It will not work with any other Operating System
With that being said -
LOVE IT, I have it hooked up to a 52" Sony Bravia that has a PC running Windows Media Edition 2005.
And it is absolutely awesome to surf from the coach, listen to my mp3's or log into 98.7 KUPD.
Its great for doing homework

This product is practical and does hook right up to your Windows XP Media Center with no issues!

This remote is so simple to setup and the USB IR receiver has a long cord length so you can position it near the TV instead of the PC. The remote works immediately without any driver setup. The Windows Media Center specific buttons work well and the general buttons also work for other media apps. I've been very happy with remote after about 3 weeks of use, but I don't yet know about the battery life.
