 Make sure you have correct power supply!Nov 14, 2007

After ordering here and receiving this item (from Dell Direct), I missed the fine print. But the copy above *does* say that you need a PA-10 type power supply. As received from Dell, the item came with absolutely no documentation (or even an invoice for that matter.) So here I go ordering another $25 power adapter in order to use it. I'll be back if this isn't great.

My Dell Latitude D600's power supply port stopped working, and it would've cost too much to get it checked out since this laptop was usable, but getting pretty old, so I bought this port replicator and it works great. This makes the laptop less portable, if you want to have it plugged in, but it's a cheap/quick fix.
Warning to buyers though, make sure you buy the power supply for the port replicator, I thought that the power supply for my d600 would be the same as this one, but it was not the case! Make sure to buy the port replicator and it's power supply!

DID NOT ARRIVE IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING BUT, WORKS QUITE WELL. IT IS AN EXCELLENT SOLUTION FOR BROKEN POWER CONNECTOR ON YOUR LAPTOP. IT STILL REQUIRES A VALID DELL AC ADAPTER TO CHARGE THE INTERNAL BATTERY.

The customer service is awesome! I bought the item and had difficulty to slot my laptop into the cradle; not because I was getting a wrong part (that I thought earlier), but simply because I did not unlock the cradle. I email the customer service and within a day, they got back to me and provide technical support. Also, they are fair to mail me a charger which should come with the dock that did not come earlier. Overall, I am satisfied with the service and the product received.
