Ridiculous return policyFeb 03, 2010
By dprop I purchased this product as a gift. It turned out to be the wrong item. But between the shipping, restock fee, return shipping and shipping on a new item, I would basically be giving them this brand new board back for free so that they can resell it. The description of the product should be at a CONSUMER level and not assume that because one can install a board that they are technically saavy. THERE also should have been a WARNING in the description, stating the return policy. MOST companies have exceptions for exchanging Christmas gifts. I am VERY disappointed with customer service and this companies policies and Amazon. I took the time to call and explain the situation, knowing full well that a CS rep has the ability to waive a restock fee. Although, very polite, I was directed back to Amazon to request the RMA at which point there is nowhere to request a waiver, even though the CS rep implied that it was possible.
